We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Director National Draw Based Games to be accountable for the development and implementation of strategic annual marketing plans to ensure customer success and deliver budgeted NPP to the province of Ontario. The role will oversee design, development, and marketing across multiple Lottery products and/or customer journeys simultaneously, while following enterprise brand guidelines, within the division to deliver annual revenue/player participation outcomes and desired customer experience. This is achieved by delivering on National Draws retail lottery portfolio, valued at $1.6 Billion in annual revenue, with millions in game contribution through the development, execution, and marketing of a portfolio of national draw games and additional new business opportunities.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the VP Lottery and Customer Success, you will be empowered to:Plan and deliver annual budgeted revenue and NPP for the National Draws Category Lead all budgeting and forecasting activities for National Draw brands (Lotto Max, 649 and Daily Grand) and supporting retail programs like Gift Cards and Multi-lane activities Collaborate with Digital lottery partners to ensure overall lottery national draw product forecasting for OLG reflects consumer choices, sales trends and optimizes the opportunity to grow sales overall. Develop and manage all variable expenses for the category including the development of the marketing budget to meet divisional objectives (including non-working, working, promotional and partnership budgets) Lead the development and implementation of the annual National Draws business and marketing plan - such as vision, mission, strategies, and financial objectives including new product initiatives and growth opportunities - to drive increased player participation, consumer and retailer satisfaction in a manner that contributes towards corporate objectives. Track progress and performance management for key initiatives. Lead the development category strategies in alignment with enterprise guidelines and overall OLG Masterbrand Collaborate with Brand during key milestones throughout marketing process including providing strategic briefs and final approval on marketing communication deliverables. Lead the annual execution of the media planning for the category with the Media Agency and ensure efficacy of plans. Lead digital execution in collaboration with Marketing Content Communication who will ensure brand and campaign design guidelines are met. Develop the Product sponsorship requirement plan for the category; define key objectives and partner with Enterprise Brand & Marketing to support delivery on the plan. Work with the enterprise social media team to manage and monitor social media and to understand what the market is (or isn't) saying about our products, services, and brand with the goal of better positioning our corporate leaders in the social space. Provide direction on the research and development of data-driven, in-depth understanding of players to identify growth strategies and evaluate specific market opportunities. Oversee the development and reporting of performance metrics and analytics to monitor business performance and identify business opportunities and issues requiring corrective action. Provide direction for the development of sales and media strategies to support the national draw-based games marketing programs and initiatives. Serve as a key OLG National Lotto Business Lead and work collaboratively with senior ILC counterparts to develop the annual National Lotto Portfolio Plan by setting sales, profit and player base objectives, and strategies. Oversee the jackpot category with ILC partners by providing guidance and insight into jackpot promotions and accelerations aimed at driving incremental sales for the category. Ensure compliance and corrective action, when necessary, by working in collaboration with regulatory (AGCO) and audit partners Serve as Business Lead on all Draw Based Games projects and initiatives including product launches, enhancements, retirements, and system improvements to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide strategy. Responsible for building, managing, retaining, developing a highly talented and commercially focused team to meet the business objectives of the category.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAYWork Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of business / marketing and product experience | Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in achieving business goals and improvement | Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated ability in collaborating across the enterprise on complex and challenging problemsEducation:

University degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field In depth understanding of marketing principles including promotion, merchandising, advertising, market research In depth knowledge of gaming industry, specifically lottery and draw based games and the respective industry, competition and general consumer and technology trends In depth understanding of broadcast media / production, consumer / retailer promotions, budget and agency management and knowledge of print production process Understanding of consumer groups that impact both lottery products and the Ontario marketplace as a whole (includes psychographic, demographic, player and non-player behavioral studies)

Licenses, Registrations, Certificates:
This role may require a Category 1 or Category 2 Gaming Assistant Registration (License) from our regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). If required, employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining this registration (license), which will be initiated at the offer stage.
