The Director, Media Strategy & Services role delivers the media strategy for the organization and to our Collectors in support of Partners, Program Marketing and Rewards. This role works in collaboration with Client Services and Analytics to create Marketing strategy and plans, building & leading all digital marketing initiatives from strategic planning through to execution and driving performance for our partners.
This leader will also be responsible for supporting the P&L of the new media business AMP Media, governing all business decisions and prioritizing investments to drive the vision across the business. They will work directly with leadership to refine and execute the business strategy and act as the primary liaison between the business and key stakeholders. They will also support development of the business roadmap and oversee and manage all business operations.
Oversee the day-to-day operational functions, manage the P&L, and serve as the accountable leader for all internal elements of the AMP Media growth plan
Support the teams in designing and delivering multi-channel strategies with measurement against KPIs for Partners, Program Marketing and Rewards, partnering with analytics and client teams to deliver end-to-end, omni-channel measurement
Determine content prioritization and optimization strategy (personalization, content, channel) across all stakeholders and channels (customer journeys)
Develop internal talent, identify/onboard new roles, and help support growth and performance
Collaborate on the Go-to-Market strategy for all products and services, including implementation and execution
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing advertisers
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Media, Marketing, and Analytics roles, preferably some within an Agency, brand or publisher environment
Experience in supporting teams in building and optimizing media strategies and plans in market
Extensive knowledge of the online advertising space with an understanding of exchange and audience-based selling and the technologies that enable it; experience in retail media highly desired
Experience going to market with new ad/data product
Deep knowledge of the digital media environment, trends / technology and agency landscape
Proven management & leadership skills with the ability to counsel on media investment strategies
Ability to lead people and develop talent across sales, media planning and buying, and more technical/data-oriented roles
