Position Details

What You Will Do
In conjunction with key stakeholders, develop and oversee the execution of strategic annual Travel and Retail & Merchandise marketing plans that leverage knowledge of business, industry, and audience insights in order to deliver against business objectives
Oversee and provide guidance for ongoing marketing activities to ensure strategy is aligned with objectives and goals, dependencies are identified, and risks are managed. Consistently track and report on marketing and business results against KPIs.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing marketing team culture, with a focus on strategic thinking, creativity and innovation.
Manage and mentor your team members, providing guidance, feedback and direction for professional development plans.
Build strong and productive working relationships with key stakeholders, enablement teams and external partners.
Actively identify new opportunities or solutions for growth. Establish a clear vision for the future state of the business and determine the resources required to achieve it.
Budget management and oversight. Lead the ongoing efforts to improve efficiencies of marketing tactics and optimize marketing plans to drive results while controlling costs.
Support leadership\'s growth strategy and provide direction to teams that is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Who You Are
University/College degree in Marketing or related field.
8+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer marketing in progressively senior roles. Preference given to those with experience in travel and/or retail and merchandise marketing.
Ability to operate at both a strategic and execution level. Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies based on data insights, understanding consumer behaviour and industry trends, and managing risk.
Demonstrated thought leader with a growth mindset who encourages a test and learn approach across marketing teams.
Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills. Has experience successfully developing and mentoring teams and can build strong partnerships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Has the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.
Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires learning quickly and managing ambiguity.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, manage, delegate, and deliver multiple demands.
