Director, Global Project Management Office

You will be responsible for stewardship of critical programs from conception through delivery, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, and driving operational excellence within one of North America's leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities



Provide function-wide oversight of the strategic project & investment portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with organizational priorities End-to-end management and delivery of complex, high-impact programs to ensure strategy alignment, stakeholder/sponsor engagement, and achievement of organizational objectives. Lead project management execution for priority initiatives, and provide direction, coaching and mentorship to project practitioners responsible for the delivery of key initiatives Champion the adoption and maturation of Agile methodologies across the function, providing guidance and coaching to project teams on Agile approaches and hybrid delivery models Establish and maintain governance over the Project Audit Center of Excellence Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on project delivery strategies and change

Qualifications



10+ years of progressive project/program management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Proven track record managing large-scale, complex portfolios in a global enterprise environment Demonstrated success leading Agile transformations and implementing governance frameworks Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries preferred PMP certification required, Agile certification strongly preferred
