About the Opportunity
  • Oversee Financial Reporting, Consolidation, Compliance Reporting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and General Accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to the VP Finance and President
  • Develop and maintain financial KPI\'s, dashboards and reporting packages for Senior Leadership and the Board
  • Develop and implement strategies across the organisation aimed to optimize payables processing and financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Spearhead the implementation of new property, division and legal entity setups and reporting structures, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement processes and internal controls to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors and Senior Leadership, to monitor financial performance, execute strategic initiatives, and support our business plan to achieve all financial targets.
About YouIn addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
  • A seasoned financial leader with exceptional leadership skills, deep financial acumen, and a knack for problem solving and implementing effective processes and internal controls.
  • Master\'s Degree in Finance, Business Administration and a CPA Designation
  • Minimum, 10+ years of professional post grad accounting experience with at least 5 years in a leadership
  • Experience in leading, designing and implementing a full cycle financial close and reporting process.
  • Change management education or experience considered an asset
  • Leadership development and education considered an asset
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
