We are seeking a Director, Digital Strategy with a deep background in the Consumer sector to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with some of the world\'s leading brands to drive digital innovation.

The Director, Digital Strategy will work with and lead a team of Bounteous consultants and digital practitioners to develop and implement digital strategies that will create new competitive advantages and deliver business value for our clients under the Consumer Business Unit (BU). Additionally, you will partner with the Growth team to identify, scope, and win new business and contribute to the growth of Bounteous.

The Director, Digital Strategy is an effective and productive leader who drives results and makes an impact. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker as well as a pragmatic doer - willing to think big and dig deep while staying grounded to drive execution.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted digital strategy consultant to Bounteous\' clients within the Consumer BU
  • Clarify and define ambiguous business problems, objectives, and goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather and analyze customer, market, and business insights to identify meaningful innovation opportunities
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to assess client digital capabilities and maturity
  • Design and facilitate collaborative workshops and stakeholder interviews with senior client stakeholders (in-person and virtual)
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to define the business ambition/vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital innovation
  • Perform analysis and/or financial modeling to validate business viability and build a business case for change/innovation
  • Formulate and present insightful and actionable recommendations, roadmaps, and plans to client management
  • Gain alignment with client management on recommendations, digital innovation roadmap, and path forward
  • Serve as a trusted partner, digital expert, and strategic guide to clients
  • Actively contribute to the growth of Bounteous by identifying new business opportunities, designing engagement approaches, scoping and estimating work, preparing winning proposals, and delivering compelling pitch presentations
  • Support the development of the digital strategy consulting craft through the development of consulting frameworks, methodologies, IP, and thought leadership
  • Inspire and develop talent of junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in management/digital consulting or a combination of consulting and industry experience managing a digital business
  • Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods & Services, and/or Travel & Hospitality
  • Experience with digital business models and using technology to achieve business value
  • Proficient in performing business and financial analysis
  • Highly skilled at customer research practices, journey mapping, service blueprints, ecosystem mapping, and prototyping methods
  • Resourceful, solution-oriented, with a growth-mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to command the room
  • A strong executive presence; experience consulting to senior client leadership
  • Bachelor\'s degree, MBA a plus
$127,000 - $170,000 a year

Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
