The Embark marketing team is seeking a seasoned Director, Digital Experience to lead our web and digital marketing initiatives.

This role will require you to roll up your sleeves and work with the marketing team to create a stellar and successful digital experience for customers, ensuring that each touchpoint of the customer journey is both effective and engaging. You will be critical in helping drive organizational growth by through both acquisition and account management activities with sightline to CSAT metrics, customer loyalty, and acquisition nurturing and conversion.


Responsibilities



Corporate/ Public Website:
  • Lead the development, oversight, maintenance and ongoing optimization of our Corporate/Public website and all owned public-facing digital web properties
  • Oversee website development and digital experiences that deliver against planned objectives
  • Research and develop a testing strategy to gain insights and improve the digital experience
  • Oversee the SEO execution, management and optimization
  • Work with IT and Sales to help develop automated integration of leads into our CRM system to track and guide qualified leads through the sales process
  • Define lead flow processes and work with IT and Sales Teams to optimize interdepartmental service level agreements
  • Evaluate and advise on the use of new technologies, benchmarking trends, and competitor data to stay at the forefront of B2C demand generation
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the marketing automation platforms and ensure that marketing and other teams are getting the maximum value possible from platform capabilities.

Marketing Automation:
  • Oversee the build, implementation and ongoing management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring optimal integration and management with Sales Cloud CRM for integration and distribution support
  • Develop nurturing journeys that help drive inbound leads to convert into sales
  • Oversee the build and management of customer engagement journeys for account management to drive and optimize customer share and satisfaction
  • Understand and use customer data to create a digital strategy that not only offers a personalized experience but leads to customer satisfaction
  • Support and oversee the development of both email lead and account management campaigns to drive interest, consideration and conversion
  • Align with our creative services team to scope and develop content, copy, as well as all creative assets to support all web and email efforts
  • Work closely with the distribution and product teams to uncover areas of opportunity to drive growth and improvement across the customer lifecycle
  • Keep the team organized and executing flawlessly - develop easy to read/access reports on daily/weekly/monthly channel performance, create a structured roadmap to communicate what marketing initiatives have gone out in-market and what is coming next
  • Manage day-to-day activities with teams and external agencies and vendors to efficiently and effectively drive identified KPIs and business growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams on effective journey strategy, creative development, and optimization as it relates to our digital platforms.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or) equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years corporate work experience in digital marketing, in-depth knowledge and detailed experience leading website and marketing automation teams
  • Hands-on knowledge and deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud a significant asset.
  • A track record of learning new channels quickly.
  • Seasoned in developing marketing briefs, managing robust roadmaps, and workback schedules.
  • Gifted in multitasking; can manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent quantitative skills with a desire to analyze all channels, and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing plus extensive Excel knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Extremely process driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast changing, fast-paced environment while balancing strategic, tactical and analytical responsibilities
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Is a team player with the confidence to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers
  • Passionate and results driven
  • Experience working within the financial service category a plus.
  • Experience building and managing consumer facing digital experiences across all platforms and device types to achieve business results
  • Demonstrated experience at explaining and building support for digital and technical initiatives
  • Experience developing information architecture systems with technology departments
  • Ability to directly manage outside agencies and/or contract workers as required with limited or no supervision
  • Ability to interact, communicate and collaborate with many different levels, both internal/external
  • Strong oral and written communications skills (English)
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Experience leading people/teams.
