The impact you will have:

The Director, Corporate Strategy, Planning & Analytics will be responsible for the development of Softchoice\'s forward-looking strategy and the execution of enterprise-wide strategic projects along with building and managing a reporting and analytics team that enables Softchoice to leverage data and insight to drive business growth. This includes building a capability to deliver fact-based recommendations to optimize our performance, growth, and investments by leveraging integrated reporting, predictive analytics, and business insights.

In this role you will work directly with SLT/ELT and Board stakeholders to shape and measure both the short- and long-term success of the organization while reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Operations & Strategy while leading a team of ~15 with 3 direct reports.

What you\'ll do:

  • Building and maintaining our 5-year plan by partnering with various executive stakeholders across the ELT/SLT and Board.
  • Owning the annual planning process including ensuring business units are executing through strong governance and providing transparent reporting around key investments.
  • Building a center of excellence for Predictive Analytics, Insights and Reporting that enables greater transparency to drive business execution and innovation for:
  • Functional areas including Sales, Business Development/Marketing and Operations
  • Results forecasting
  • Strategic business investments
  • Ownership and ongoing innovation around our Customer and Market segmentation including target growth areas and gap analysis
  • Leading some of the highest priority projects and Softchoice and working with business owners to develop key business strategies for executive / board level decisions.
  • Manage, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Ensure Annual planning and operating plans are completed on time and meet the needs of our stakeholders
  • Build and develop an innovative analytics foundation and strategy to empower business leaders to better leverage data for decision making
  • Define and launch key strategic initiatives
  • Work cross functionally to develop and ensure alignment to KPIs that support our strategies and initiatives
  • Provide direction and support to the team to drive initiatives through to execution while engaging with other leaders to ensure alignment and source feedback
  • Ensure consistency and quality in deliverables for the board, IR and ELT
  • Provide guidance and generate awareness of strategy to other business units to drive alignment
What you\'ll bring to the table:
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field in a quantitative discipline (MBA strongly preferred)
  • Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm and at least 8+ years in leadership roles in strategy, consulting and/or sales planning/operations
  • Experience working with B2B technology organizations
  • Highly structured but comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic environments
  • Experience developing models and forecasts, competitive analyses, and summarizing findings for management/executives
  • Outstanding track record of leading strategy and/or planning teams and establishing significant relationships and trust with senior management
  • Skilled at logical structuring and presenting data in story format
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior-level executives
