The role

You have a unique opportunity to join a newly created team early on after the acquisition of Freedom by Quebecor and play a key role in shaping Freedom\'s new go-to-market strategy.

A typical day
  • Serve as primary partner to client.
  • Plan advertising activities and projects for client brands, brief teams on requirements, and supervise their progress.
  • Identify issues and solutions in complete ecosystems (360\xc2\xb0 holistic vision).
  • Work in a matrix structure, in close collaboration with the client.
  • Thrive on the challenge of building something impactful and implementing innovative management methods.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Strategic Planning Director to define the client\'s strategic and creative visions.
  • Define the strategic direction of the consulting team.
  • Supervise the work of the consulting team.
  • Perform quality control on client presentations and personally participate in certain presentations.
  • Maintain relationships of trust with various stakeholders.
  • Remain at the forefront of market realities and trends, and share relevant information with the team.
Your skills/experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in communications or related field
  • Eight years of experience in a similar role
  • Leadership skills coupled with a proven talent in big-brand architecture and an inspiring personality
  • Substantial experience managing a major account and national brand
  • Experience in telecommunications an asset
  • Excellent French and English language skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to manage, galvanize, and mentor a team of consulting experts
  • Ability to dynamically manage one of the largest advertisers in Quebec and Canada
  • Team player with strong strategic thinking skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, and strong writing skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
