Here\xe2\x80\x99s the impact you\xe2\x80\x99ll make and what we\xe2\x80\x99ll accomplish together As the Director, Brand and Marketing Communications, reporting to the VP, Brand and Product Marketing, you and your team are responsible for growing the TELUS Health brand globally, and driving TELUS Health\xe2\x80\x99s marketing communications corporate strategies, programs and initiatives that support all activities undertaken by the TELUS Health Marketing Office. Own the brand positioning: Responsible for evolving, refining and clarifying the positioning, value proposition and compelling promise that will win the hearts and minds of customers and consumers. Organizational alignment will be critical to ensure the positioning best reflects the values and ideals of the full stakeholder group. Responsible for ensuring it uniformly succeeds across all touch points including but not limited to advertising, social, digital, website, events and all collateral.
Lead the corporate brand marketing: Lead the development of an insight-rich, data-informed strategic marketing plan that will identify the corporate goals and how they will be achieved. Oversee the implementation and execution of the integrated (multi-channel) campaign tactics, corporate narrative, editorial and content (including thought leadership) on all owned channels.
Own the Marketing Communications function: You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the opportunity to build on our strong foundation and take it to the next level, including, strategy, processes, managing priorities and budget, and day-to-day operations. Develop processes to handle the intake and prioritization of requests and deploy design and content resources to support broader marketing and organizational initiatives. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for identifying gaps in knowledge and skills and work to build appropriate solutions both with the internal team and external vendors. You will lead a team of campaign managers responsible for the creation and implementations of all advertising output including the setting and enforcing of brand guidelines.
Support our revenue generation initiatives: Partner closely with our Business Marketing and Product Marketing teams and play a pivotal role in bringing our campaigns, events, launches, and other initiatives to life through the creative resources that you\xe2\x80\x99ll manage. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work to inspire the team to push methods, creative processes and thinking. Curious and resourceful to research new emerging platforms and tools to find new ways to deliver growth and creatively solve problems.
Support our user engagement initiatives: Work with cross-functional teams to help steer our user engagement initiatives, including driving growth and engagement among our users and supporting with content and design resources as needed.
Manage high performing teams: Ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re equipped with the people, partners and financial resources needed to support day-to-day operations to achieve our strategic intent. You are a builder of highly engaged, collaborative teams.
Manage and lead agency relationships: Oversee partnerships with creative, media and digital agencies. Establish best in class relationship models to ensure efficient and effective co-creation of marketing strategies, campaign development and execution.
Qualifications
You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle
Marketing or Business degree, MBA an asset
10 years of progressive marketing experience in healthcare and/or service related industries
7 years of leadership experience
Exceptional track record of building highly engaged teams
Strong verbal and written communicator who is well versed in championing in an organization
Experience writing briefs that result in on-brand, high quality work from internal and external creative teams
Experience developing and managing multi-channel brand and product campaigns
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, providing thought leadership and managing senior stakeholders
Great-to-have
Agency-side experience considered an asset
Global marketing experience an asset
