We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Director Assistant - Admissions to support the admissions team in fostering a welcoming environment for prospective students and parents. Experience in Childcare and Level 3 are required.
This role is essential in facilitating the recruitment process, enhancing student engagement, and ensuring a smooth transition for new applicants into our educational community. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
a Coordinates administrative functions of the program; facilitates communication; messaging to families and staff.
b. Intake of calls and transferring to the correct individual and keeping logs
c. Assist with tracking admissions and tours
d. Verify that all registration forms are complete and not missing information (eg: allergies, medication, emergency contacts can not be parents, etc.).
e. Ensures positive communication with families through regular verbal and written contact regarding the program, children's progress, opportunities for involvement, special concerns and family needs.
f. Coordinates communication with prospective clients; interviews prospective clients and completes intake and orientation procedures; monitors waitlist.
g. Communicate with the staff team to coordinate orientation and transition of new children and families to the program.
h. Effectively communicates and implements the Zebra Crossing philosophy, policies and procedures to all key stakeholders; parents, staff, and community.
i. Prepares and produces written documents to meet program information and communication needs; administers group documentation; keeps Program Management Team and Executive Director informed of pertinent information; answers and returns phone calls; provides mail and fax services.
j. Ensures staff remain current and knowledgeable; makes recommendations for in-service training; advises managers of professional development needs of staff; maintains own knowledge through professional development.
k. Respects confidentiality and relates to parents, children and other staff members in a professional and ethical manner.
l. Other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Operations / Curriculum / Executive Director/ Management.
m. Ensure each classroom is run effectively in a caring way combined with academics
n. Assist in training staffing and conflict resolution
o. Building a culture and organizing team events as well as outreach events
p. Work as support staff in the class when required.
q. Act as a Supervisor during the Supervisor and/or Program Coordinator absence.
r. Organize and plan a yearly event calendar in coordination with Director, Supervisors and Program Coordinator.

Pay: $39,602.92-$45,000.00 per year
