The individual will be required to do the following:

  • Manage changes to the Quality systems management system and any associated integrations or ancillary systems.
  • Ensure the continued validation of the regulated applications.
  • Work closely with the business to understand direction and usage of the applications.
  • Work to expand the usage of the platforms and applications.
  • Work with software suppliers, external hosting services to ensure continued maintenance and support of the platform.
  • Work collaboratively with the business and with IT colleagues.
  • Provide input into the budget and manage costs associated with the laboratory application
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input/guidance into the strategy for deploying a Controlled documents digitalization management solution
  • Provide input into the IT budget for projects within this area as well as maintenance and support costs.
  • Gather input from the business to determine how to improve/enhance processes within the applications
  • Provide project management as required for upgrades, new functionalities, other projects.
  • Manage support activities related to the application including incident management
  • Liaise with Regional IT teams to align on requirement and adequate support.
  • Liaise with infrastructure to ensure hardware/databases are monitored and protected
  • Provide direction and guidance and management for governance activities such as digitalization, change management, validation, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, monitoring and audit support
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor degree in a technical discipline relevant to computers and programming.

Technical Skill sets:
  • Extensive experience in configuring, customizing and maintaining Controlled documents management, Quality process and eDMS applications
  • Experience with TrackWise software is preferred
  • Experience with ComplianceWire and Amplexor eDMS integration is preferred.
  • Experience working with PowerBI and other business intelligence tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platform, basic networking, and interfaces
  • Oracle database
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Java, JavaScript
Special Skills:
  • Project Management certification a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact at all levels from management to staff level
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into measurable design goals/input
  • Ability to plan and organize work, yet quickly adapt to changing priorities if necessary
  • Strong work ethic with ability to function in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual Frenc - English
Experience in a Life Sciences environments

Experience in a laboratory environment

Experience with software development life cycle processes and technical documentation.
