Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment. As a Driller, you will be responsible for executing drilling operations efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a commitment to quality work and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate drilling equipment, including horizontal drilling machines, backhoes, and loaders, to perform drilling tasks effectively. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Dig trenches and holes as required for various projects, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations according to project specifications. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. Document daily activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating heavy machinery on-site.

Experience

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential, particularly with Caterpillar machinery, graders, loaders, and backhoes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively. Experience in horizontal drilling techniques is preferred but not mandatory. A valid commercial driving license is a plus, enabling operation of vehicles as necessary for job duties. Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain focus on tasks for extended periods.
