Our field crews are Horizontal Directional Drilling professionals and are provided with well-trained field support.

Horizontal Directional Drill Operator/Locator w. AZ or ARZ license job duties (Drilling 95% - Driving 5%)

The successful candidate will contribute to the installation of the latest telecommunication infrastructure through horizontal directional drilling. Who knows, maybe you will be claim having participating in the the installation of the newest fiber technology on the market.

TRAING WILL BE PROVIDED ON HOW TO OPERATE A DRILL OR LOCATE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON

ABOVE UNION RATE WILL BE PAID TO THOSE WITH QUALIFIED EXPERIENCE

As a Driller Operator/Locator you will:

*Operate the horizontal directional safely and the locator box to ensure drilling accuracy (95%)

*Ensure good working order of your drill and of your locate tool

*perform small periodic maintenance tasks and notify mechanic promptly of any drill or truck problems

*Drive bore truck loaded with drill (loaded on flat bed or enclosed trailer), bore fluid mixing equipment and other tools to site (AZ license - 5%)

*Complete Drivers duty: pre-trip inspection and log book

*Complete Daily Tailboard (field level risk assessment) and equipment inspections

*Ensure bore truck is fully stocked with proper supplies and tools

*Inspect job/section locates for identifying and avoiding utilities.

*Drilling respecting the proper distances to utilities and request daylighting of utilities when required

*Must be a member of, OR enroll to, LiUNA Local 527 union

*Report daily hours diligently to supervisor

*Perform any other tasks deemed necessary for the successful completion of the project.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.02-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
