La personne titulaire du poste sera responsable de superviser l'ensemble des activites operationnelles de l'atelier de Sorel-Tracy. Ce role exige une forte orientation vers les resultats operationnels, la gestion financiere, les depenses en immobilisations (CAPEX), les indicateurs de productivite et le developpement des talents. La personne recherchee fera preuve d'un leadership solide, avec un accent marque sur la securite, la qualite, la livraison et la gestion des couts. Elle sera egalement responsable de diriger l'expansion du site et la croissance de la capacite.

Responsabilites principales

  • Leadership operationnel: Diriger et mobiliser l'equipe afin d'assurer des processus de fabrication efficaces. Superviser les operations quotidiennes, y compris la planification de la production, l'allocation des ressources et la gestion des flux de travail.
  • Gestion financiere: Atteindre les objectifs financiers, incluant la gestion des budgets, le controle des couts et la rentabilite. Suivre et analyser la performance financiere, identifier les ameliorations et mettre en oeuvre des actions correctives.
  • Investissements (CAPEX): Planifier et gerer les projets d'immobilisations pour ameliorer les capacites et l'efficacite. Evaluer et recommander des investissements en equipements, technologies et infrastructures.
  • Indicateurs de productivite (KPI): Definir et suivre les indicateurs cles pour stimuler la performance et l'excellence operationnelle. Mettre en place des initiatives d'amelioration continue pour optimiser les processus et reduire les pertes.
  • Leadership et developpement des talents : Favoriser une culture de collaboration et d'apprentissage continu. Identifier les opportunites de developpement, offrir du mentorat, du coaching et des formations.
  • Sante, securite et conformite : Assurer le respect des normes et reglements en matiere de securite. Promouvoir une culture securite d'abord avec audits et formations regulieres.
  • Gestion de la qualite : Superviser les processus de controle qualite pour garantir la conformite aux normes et aux attentes des clients. Mettre en oeuvre des initiatives d'amelioration et resoudre rapidement les problemes de qualite.
  • Livraison et satisfaction client: Garantir la livraison ponctuelle des produits et maintenir un haut niveau de satisfaction client. Collaborer avec les equipes ventes et service a la clientele pour repondre aux besoins.
  • Gestion des couts: Deployer des strategies pour reduire les couts sans compromettre la qualite. Analyser les facteurs de couts et identifier des opportunites d'economies.
  • Expansion du site et croissance de la capacite : Diriger la planification strategique et l'execution des projets d'expansion. Collaborer avec les equipes transversales pour evaluer les besoins et mettre en oeuvre les plans.
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureat en genie, administration des affaires ou domaine connexe (maitrise souhaitee).
  • Minimum 10 ans dans des roles de direction en fabrication, avec succes demontre en gestion operationnelle.
Competences :
  • Leadership et gestion d'equipe.
  • Solides competences financieres et experience en gestion budgetaire.
  • Maitrise des principes de fabrication Lean et des methodologies d'amelioration continue.
  • Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et de resolution de problemes.
  • Communication et relations interpersonnelles efficaces.
  • Connaissance des normes de securite et des systemes de gestion de la qualite.
Atouts :
  • Experience dans l'industrie manufacturiere, idealement dans un role similaire.
  • Certification Lean Six Sigma ou equivalent.
  • Experience avec les systemes ERP et logiciels de fabrication.
  • Experience averee en projets d'expansion et de croissance de capacite.

The Senior Manufacturing Leader will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Sorel-Tracy Shop. This role requires a strong focus on the operational results, financial, capital expenditure (capex), productivity KPIs, and people development. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, with a keen emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost management. Additionally, the Senior Manufacturing Leader will be responsible for leading the expansion of the site and capacity growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the operational team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Oversee daily operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for achieving financial targets, including budget management, cost control, and profitability. Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Capital Expenditure (Capex): Plan and manage capital projects to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency. Evaluate and recommend investments in new equipment, technology, and infrastructure.
  • Productivity KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity and operational excellence. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Leadership and People Development: Foster a culture of leadership, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Identify development opportunities for team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Promote a safety-first culture, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. * Quality Management: Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards. Implement quality improvement initiatives and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Delivery and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely delivery of products to customers, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Cost Management: Implement strategies to reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality. Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Site Expansion and Capacity Growth: Lead the strategic planning and execution of site expansion projects to increase manufacturing capacity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess needs, secure resources, and implement expansion plans. Ensure that expansion projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Evaluate market demands and production capabilities to determine the need for additional capacity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in operational management.
Skills:
