  • Collaboration \xc3\xa9troite avec la Cheffe de la production et productrice ex\xc3\xa9cutive (rencontre hebdomadaire, status de d\xc3\xa9partement, plan strat\xc3\xa9gique annuelle, etc.)
  • Mentorer les artisans dans le d\xc3\xa9veloppement cr\xc3\xa9atif de leurs projets (monteur, motion designer et vid\xc3\xa9aste)
  • Organiser, \xc3\xa9valuer et superviser les op\xc3\xa9rations quotidiennes du d\xc3\xa9partement de post production
  • Supervision et gestion de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de post production (post-producteur, coordonnateur, monteur, motion et assistants)
  • Gestion optimale de l\'assignation des projets selon les priorit\xc3\xa9s et le taux d\'occupation des ressources internes (post-producteur.rice, coordonnateur.trice, monteur.se et motion designer)
  • Agir \xc3\xa0 titre de personne-ressource en post-prod envers les producteurs, le service-conseil et la cr\xc3\xa9a
  • Mise en place (ou ajustement) de proc\xc3\xa9dures pour optimiser l\'efficience des projets et du d\xc3\xa9partement
  • D\xc3\xa9velopper et maintenir des relations avec les autres bureaux; Toronto, LA principalement, ainsi que Paris et Londres.
  • Gestion optimale des pigistes
  • Formation de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe et \xc3\xa9ducation des autres d\xc3\xa9partements
  • Responsable du recrutement en collaboration avec la Cheffe de la production ou du directeur technique selon les besoins
  • Superviser l\'archivage du projet, le classement des masters et assets r\xc3\xa9currents avec le directeur technique
  • Superviser la gestion de la salle de podcast et de l\'\xc3\xa9quipement

REQUIS
  • Plus de 5 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en tant que directeur de cr\xc3\xa9ation post production;
  • Plus de 2 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en tant que gestionnaire d\'un d\xc3\xa9partement de post production;
  • Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at dans une discipline pertinente;
  • Penchant inn\xc3\xa9 pour la cr\xc3\xa9ation et gestion en post production;
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler et g\xc3\xa9rer les divers profils d\'artisans en post production (post producteur.trice, monteur, motion designer, vid\xc3\xa9aste) ;
  • Habilit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 collaborer avec des instances de plusieurs disciplines et souplesse pour concilier les m\xc3\xa9thodes de travail avec l\'approche cr\xc3\xa9ative ;
  • Tr\xc3\xa8s bonne connaissance cr\xc3\xa9ative et technique de la post production en agence ;

He/she is responsible for maintaining healthy collaboration and communication between departments (account services and creative), partners (suppliers or freelancers) and the various inter-office stakeholders (Toronto and US).RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Production and Executive Producer (weekly meetings, departmental status, annual strategic plan, etc.).
  • Mentor artisans in the creative development of their projects (editor, motion designer and videographer)
  • Organize, evaluate and supervise day-to-day operations of post-production department
  • Supervise and manage the post-production team (post-producer, coordinator, editor, motion and assistants)
  • Optimal management of project assignments according to priorities and occupancy rate of internal resources (post-producer, coordinator, editor and motion designer)
  • Act as post-prod resource person for producers, consulting and creative departments
  • Implement (or adjust) procedures to optimize project and department efficiency
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other offices; Toronto, LA mainly, as well as Paris and London.
  • Optimal management of freelancers
  • Team training and education of other departments
  • Responsible for recruitment in collaboration with the Head of Production or Technical Director as required
  • Supervise project archiving, filing of masters and recurring assets with the Technical Director
  • Oversee management of podcast room and equipment
  • Keep abreast of new suppliers, techniques and trends in the industry.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Over 5 years experience as a post-production creative director;
  • More than 2 years experience as manager of a post-production department;
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant discipline;
  • A natural inclination for post-production creation and management;
  • Ability to work with and manage various profiles of post-production craftspeople (post-producer, editor, motion designer, videographer).
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines and flexibility to reconcile work methods with creative approach;
  • Very good creative and technical knowledge of agency post-production;
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (international collaborators and clients).
