Responsabilites et Taches:
Responsable de la gestion et du controle qualite de mandats de juricomptabilite, y compris la quantification de dommages, les enquetes sur les fraudes et la quantification des dommages dans un contexte de litige.
Responsable de la preparation de rapports juricomptables complexes et de la revision de rapports juricomptables simples.
Correspondre avec les clients, les avocats, les experts en sinistres et divers ressources a l'interne pour discuter des questions relatives aux dossiers et presenter nos conclusions.
Developper et entretenir des relations avec les clients au plus haut niveau, notamment en etant responsable de la plupart des aspects operationnels de mandats.
Appliquer une expertise technique et interpreter les lois, la jurisprudence et les normes pour formuler des recommandations relatives aux clients.
Participer a des taches techniques et au developpement de l'entreprise : formation, amelioration de processus, controle qualite.
Faire preuve de discernement et de raisonnement pour prendre des decisions courantes et complexes.

Formation et Aptitudes/Connaissances Professionnelles:
Au moins 5 ans d'experience en juricomptabilite, en particulier une expertise demontree dans la realisation, la direction et/ou la gestion de missions de quantification de dommages.
Titre d'expert-comptable requis. Un titre specialise (PAA, CBV, CFF) serait un atout.
Solides competences en matiere d'analyse, de comptabilite et d'audit
Solide connaissance de la quantification des pertes d'assurance et du processus de conseil en matiere de sinistres
Connaissance experte/avancee et application des normes professionnelles pertinentes, des nouvelles lois et reglementations et des normes de pratique.
Souci du detail, excellent sens de l'organisation, autonomie et forte motivation pour jouer un role de premier plan.

Our firm specializes in measuring the value of economic damages in legal disputes and insurance claims and have extensive experience in a wide variety of industries and areas of insurance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for managing projects and monitoring the quality of work performed on forensic accounting engagements, including quantification of insurance claims, fraud investigations and damage quantification arising in a litigation context
Effectively lead the planning and execution of Forensic Disputes and Investigative projects, including compiling financial data, performing analysis and preparing recommendations
Responsible for the review and completion of forensic accounting reports
Correspondence with clients, lawyers, insurance adjusters and internal contacts to discuss file issues and present our findings
Develop and maintain client relationships at the highest level, including accountability for most operational aspects of client engagement
Preparation of schedules and reports pertaining to Forensic Accounting files and general financial accounting & analysis
Apply technical expertise and interprets laws, regulations and standards to formulate client related recommendations
Participate in all technical tasks and business development of the firm
Use sound judgement and reasoning to make both common and complex decisions
Other duties as required
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, in particular demonstrated expertise in completing, leading and/or managing commercial insurance loss quantification assignments
CPA designation required. Specialty designation (i.e. CIP, CBV, CFF) would be an asset
Strong analytical, accounting and auditing skills
Strong knowledge of insurance loss quantification and claims consulting process
Expert/advanced knowledge and application of the relevant professional standards, emerging laws and regulations and practice standards
Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, self-driven and highly motivated to be a leader
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
