K'(Prime) Technologies Inc., or K'(Prime), is a global imaging services company based in Calgary, Alberta, and is wholly owned by Nanalysis Scientific Corp. (TSXV: NSCI, OTCQX: NSCIF, FRA: 1N1). K'(Prime)'s business includes chemistry, commercial security, next-generation AI-powered security equipment sales, and airport imaging, such as X-ray and millimeter wave imaging. K'(Prime) offers airport imaging equipment maintenance across all Canadian provinces and territories. We are seeking motivated, problem-solving individuals to join our team of over 130 skilled imaging services technicians, who play a vital role in Canada's aviation security.
The District Manager, Imaging Operations, is the key leader responsible for overseeing and managing imaging activities within your assigned District. Each district will include at least one (1) Class 1 airport and remote site(s). Your main responsibility is to lead a team of imaging services technicians across various work centres, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and services in line with contractual obligations and expected service levels. In addition to technical oversight, you will handle handling administrative and managerial tasks essential to the district's success and the overall well-being of the company. District Managers who have technical equipment training must stay current on all technical platforms to perform preventative, corrective, or authorized work as needed; however, this will be on an exceptional basis. Technical training on airport imaging security equipment is not a prerequisite for this role.
Travelling to airports within your district and providing support to other airports in the region and nationally is needed. The District Manager will also provide interim coverage or support for other airports in their district, region, or country as needed.
Primary Duties
:
Scheduling Assignments
. Coordinate and manage the scheduling and assignments of Preventive Maintenance (PM) work, ideally two or three quarters in advance. Also, coordinate and schedule Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Authorized Maintenance (AW). Ensure the efficient allocation of resources and adherence to project timelines in line with the company's cost-saving goals.
Coordinate AW Projects
. Work closely with K'(Prime) Technical Project Advisors, airport stakeholders, and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) to ensure that PM work and AW Projects are scheduled and coordinated.
Leave Approval
. Review and pre-approve leave requests to ensure adequate coverage and minimal disruption to operational workflows. Maintain correct records of approved leaves.
Schedule Management and Approval
. Manage and implement schedule changes, including training assignments and shift change requests. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to improve workforce deployment and allocation. Work effectively with K'(Prime)'s human resources application (Dayforce) to approve district employee timesheets, overtime, and vacations.
Ad hoc CM Assignments
. Choose the main contact for dispatching ad-hoc CM assignments. Ensure quick and effective resolution of unforeseen technical issues.
Equipment Release Requests
. Initiate and coordinate release requests with CATSA, various airport authorities, and security contractors (e.g., GARDA, Allied). Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
Update Assignments
. Ensure that Senior Technicians promptly record completed tasks in the system. Maintain exact and up-to-date records of task status for effective tracking and reporting.
Weekly Parts Order/Replenishment
. Submit or assign requests for consumable parts to the Western Imaging Services Centre (WISC) and/or the Eastern Imaging Services Centre (EISC) weekly, with a Thursday deadline. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a smooth workflow.
Quality Control (QC) Completed Workorders
. Approve work orders for posting and invoicing, ensuring team members meet or exceed logging and work order standards. Take necessary steps to rectify deficiencies promptly.
Communication
. Directly engage with Airport Stakeholders, Customers, and Customer Representatives.
Coaching and Mentoring
. Guide team members in mentoring or coaching. Support the implementation of regional initiatives or pilot programs as directed by the Regional Manager or senior leadership. Provide feedback to regional management and corporate bodies on process improvements, technician training needs, or district-level innovations.
Performance Review and Evaluation
. Offer constructive feedback on team members' performance, addressing issues promptly and effectively. Support ongoing team growth and development through regular evaluations.
Employee Discipline and Performance Management
. Escalate unresolved operational challenges, stakeholder disputes, or team performance issues to the Regional Manager for resolution and support. Collaborate with the Regional Manager to address complex personnel issues, long-term scheduling gaps, and cross-district project dependencies.
Repairs and Service
. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on CATSA Security Equipment and infrastructure systems and components, following contracted service levels and technical specifications. Oversee the installation and Site Acceptance of new or redeployed equipment.
Parts Management
. Collaborate with Imaging Services Technicians, Workload Administrators, logistics personnel, and Operations Controllers to ship and receive parts into inventory, demarcate items from inventory, and effectively manage the Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) process accurately and promptly. Create Purchase Orders as needed and complete Shipping Orders to ensure the availability of materials for both regular and unscheduled maintenance activities, following the organization's logistics frameworks.
Strategic and Operational Coordination
. Provide regular operational updates, performance metrics, and staffing reports to the Regional Manager to support regional performance analysis and strategic planning. Attend regular alignment meetings with the Regional Manager and other District Managers to share best practices, address usual challenges, and ensure consistent service quality across districts and regions. Ensure concise and correct logging of Service Orders using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Assist Work Centre Health and Safety Representatives with tasks as needed.
Shift Work
: As a management position, this role will not have regularly scheduled shift work.

Les gestionnaires de district qui detiennent une formation technique sur l'equipement doivent se tenir a jour sur toutes les plateformes techniques pour effectuer, au besoin, des travaux preventifs, correctifs ou autorises -- toutefois, ceci demeure exceptionnel. Une formation technique prealable sur l'equipement de securite d'imagerie aeroportuaire n'est

requise pour ce role.
Des deplacements dans les aeroports du district sont necessaires, de meme que la prestation de soutien a d'autres aeroports de la region et a l'echelle nationale. Le/la gestionnaire de district offrira egalement une couverture ou un soutien interimaire pour d'autres aeroports de son district, de sa region ou du pays au besoin.
Responsabilites principales
Planification des affectations
: Coordonner et gerer la planification des travaux d'entretien preventif (EP), idealement deux ou trois trimestres a l'avance. Planifier egalement l'entretien correctif (EC) et l'entretien autorise (EA). Assurer une allocation efficace des ressources et le respect des echeanciers, en ligne avec les objectifs de reduction des couts de l'entreprise.
Coordination des projets EA
: Collaborer avec les conseillers techniques de K'(Prime), les parties prenantes aeroportuaires et l'Administration canadienne de la surete du transport aerien (ACSTA) pour planifier et coordonner les EP et projets EA.
Approbation des conges
: Examiner et approuver les demandes de conge afin d'assurer une couverture adequate et de minimiser les perturbations aux operations. Tenir des registres exacts des conges approuves.
Gestion et approbation des horaires
: Gerer et mettre en oeuvre les changements d'horaire, y compris les affectations de formation et les demandes de changement de quart. Utiliser l'application RH de K'(Prime) (Dayforce) pour approuver les feuilles de temps, les heures supplementaires et les vacances des employes du district.
Affectations ad hoc EC
: Etre le contact principal pour le traitement des demandes ad hoc d'entretien correctif. Veiller a une resolution rapide et efficace des problemes techniques imprevus.
Demandes de mise hors service
: Initier et coordonner les demandes avec l'ACSTA, les autorites aeroportuaires et les entrepreneurs en securite (ex. : GARDA, Allied). S'assurer du respect des exigences reglementaires et procedurales.
Mises a jour des affectations
: Veiller a ce que les techniciens principaux consignent rapidement les taches completees dans le systeme. Maintenir des registres precis et a jour pour un suivi et un rapport efficaces.
Commandes hebdomadaires de pieces
: Soumettre ou assigner les demandes de pieces consommables aux centres de services d'imagerie de l'Ouest (WISC) et de l'Est (EISC) chaque semaine, au plus tard le jeudi. Surveiller et gerer les niveaux d'inventaire afin d'assurer un flux de travail continu.
Controle de qualite (CQ) des bons de travail completes
: Approuver les bons de travail pour facturation et publication, en veillant au respect des normes. Corriger toute deficience rapidement.
Communication
: Etablir un lien direct avec les parties prenantes aeroportuaires, les clients et leurs representants.
Encadrement et mentorat
: Guider les membres de l'equipe dans le mentorat et le coaching. Soutenir les initiatives regionales ou programmes pilotes. Fournir une retroaction aux gestionnaires regionaux sur les ameliorations de processus, besoins de formation et innovations.
Evaluation du rendement
: Fournir une retroaction constructive sur la performance des membres de l'equipe. Soutenir la croissance et le developpement continus de l'equipe par des evaluations regulieres.
Discipline et gestion de la performance
: Transmettre les enjeux operationnels non resolus ou les problemes de performance au gestionnaire regional pour soutien. Collaborer sur les enjeux de personnel complexes, lacunes de planification et dependances inter-districts.
Reparations et service
: Effectuer au besoin des entretiens correctifs et preventifs sur l'equipement de securite de l'ACSTA. Superviser l'installation et l'acceptation de nouveaux equipements.
Gestion des pieces
: Collaborer avec les techniciens, administrateurs de charge de travail, personnel logistique et controleurs des operations pour expedier, recevoir et gerer les retours (RMA). Creer des bons de commande et d'expedition selon les besoins.
Coordination strategique et operationnelle
: Fournir des mises a jour regulieres sur la performance et les effectifs. Participer aux reunions d'alignement avec le gestionnaire regional et les autres gestionnaires de district. Assurer l'exactitude de la saisie des bons de service dans le systeme ERP.
