As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and community-minded individual to join our team in a direct sales capacity.

Position Summary

We are seeking a

Direct Sales Representative

who is confident, driven, and passionate about helping others. This role involves building relationships with referral partners, conducting community outreach, and generating new business opportunities.

It begins as

part-time

, with strong potential to move into

full-time

based on performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an outside sales environment and is motivated by both purpose and results.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calls, drop-ins, and community outreach Build relationships with referral partners (retirement homes, community organizations, real estate agents, etc.) Attend local events, networking groups, and community programs Overcome objections and build trust with potential clients and partners Maintain accurate lead tracking and ongoing follow-up Represent Genie Senior Services with professionalism, empathy, and warmth

Qualifications

Experience in

direct sales

, outside sales, business development, or similar role Confidence in cold calling and initiating new relationships Resilient, persistent, and not discouraged by "no" Strong communication and interpersonal skills A natural relationship-builder

Preferred (but not required):

Experience in healthcare or senior care, such as: PSW / Support Worker Retirement or Long-Term Care roles Hospital or rehabilitation settings Senior-focused community services Experience working with seniors or supporting families in transition A humanitarian, service-minded personality -- someone who finds purpose in helping others
