We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service within a hospitality environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food handling and restaurant management.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Manage the dining room operations, including seating arrangements, table settings, and cleanliness. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring all guests feel valued. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using the POS system. Collaborate with Events Manager in executing large parties and events. Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Implement policies and procedures that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, cash handling procedures, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with POS systems and their operation in a restaurant setting. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. A passion for creating an inviting atmosphere for guests while maintaining high operational standards.
