Position Overview

The Dining Room Manager will oversee the guest experience at Fluke - A Dining Experience at Blackbush, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and warmth. This position combines leadership, hands-on service, and teamwork in an intimate and dynamic environment.

Schedule & Commitment

Fluke - A Dining Experience at Blackbush operates a single dinner service

Thursday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Team members should expect additional hours outside of these service times for setup, prep, breakdown, cleaning, and team coordination. As a small, collaborative operation, flexibility and reliability are essential -- everyone plays a role in creating an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and train FOH staff in service standards, guest interaction, and teamwork. Manage daily service operations, reservations, and table flow. Support the Chef and Sous Chef in coordinating timing between kitchen and service. Oversee opening and closing duties, cash handling, and end-of-night reporting. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally. Assist with wine, cocktail, and beverage program development. Participate in shared responsibilities such as running food, clearing tables, polishing glassware and silverware, and assisting with plating when needed.

Qualifications

3+ years in a supervisory or managerial hospitality role. Strong leadership and communication skills. A calm, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration. Must have Responsible Beverage Server Program certificate. FoodSafe certificate is considered an asset but not required.

$24/hr + Tips

Hours:

28-40 hours per week
