Information and Collection provides high-quality, substantive and timely information,
reference and documentation services to parliamentarians and their staff by building,
managing, preserving and optimizing access to the Library\'s information assets.
We are currently looking for candidates to staff the following position: Digitization
Clerk.
The incumbent is responsible for the digitization and digital reformatting of documentary
material. The incumbent also assists library clerks, as needed, with clerical functions.

CGS-3 ($51,012 - $57,967)

Note: This position is not eligible for regular telework. The location of work is on-
site at Library of Parliament workplaces located in the National Capital
Region.

The following knowledge criterion will also be evaluated:
  • Knowledge of document digitization principles
To be considered, candidates must have:
  • High school diploma or acceptable combination of relevant education, training and
experience;
  • Experience in digitizing documentary material;
  • Experience in using a library management system such as an integrated library system,
a client request management system or a document or records management system to
manage client requests or track collection circulation, loans or collection description;
  • Experience in performing work that requires sustained accuracy and attention to
detail.
