Reporting to the Financial Administrator, the Digitization Clerk shall assist ADC in its efforts to go paperless.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scanning and digitization - preparing records for digitization; separating a variety of records, preparing paper documents for digitization, removing staples, binding, and removing paperclips
File uploading - performing quality control to ensure documents are scanned correctly with clear images and entered into our internal database
After digitizing, file physical documents in our filing system or destroy as per policy
Must be able to bend and lift filing boxes and folders continuously
Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records
Perform related clerical duties, including word processing, filing, faxing and photocopying
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Update bank reconciliations all LPFN accounts daily
Scan monthly bank reconciliations and bank statements
Sorting Check Recs for Chief and Council to sign
Receptionist Duties when Receptionist is not available.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year office clerical experience in handling physical documents such as photocopying and scanning documents
Actual working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Be able to left more than 25 pounds (filing boxing)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Strong communication verbally and written.
Adhere to deadlines. and have the ability to handle sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner
