Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Product & Design, the product owner will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives by championing key projects and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and development teams. The role is expected to evolve quickly into a product manager where strategic planning and leadership will be integral to success.
This position will establish the product roadmap to drive growth while collaborating heavily with the IT team. In the same vein, this position is also expected to identify and manage opportunities both from a near-term to the future state of the Air Canada Vacations\xe2\x80\x99 website.

Responsibilities:
- Champion digital transformation initiatives and manage end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate bilaterally with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable product roadmaps aligned with the overall business objectives
- Ensure that Sprint deployments are diligently planned, managed and deployed in a time-bound manner
- Author high-level product requirement documents, user guides wherever applicable. manage backlogs, develop acceptance criteria, and drive user acceptance testing.
- A post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing
- 5+ years experience in a business analysis or product owner or in a product manager role
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies
- Experience with Confluence, JIRA, MS Office, MS Project and Monday or equivalent product management software
- Prior experience in Travel Technology, a definite asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent skills in strategic & critical thinking
- Strong interpersonal, communication & persuasion skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Understanding of company organization, products, and related industry knowledge
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities while completing projects successfully
