We are seeking a skilled Digital Prepress Operator on a contract basis to support large-scale print production for a major North American sporting event (FIFA 2026). The Digital Prepress Operator plays a key role in supporting the production and design team by preparing digital artwork for print and ensuring files are accurate, press-ready, and aligned with customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced print environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both creative design and the technical aspects of print production.

Job Duties (include and are not limited to):
Prepare and optimize digital artwork for print production
Preflight all incoming files to verify fonts, images, resolution, and print readiness
Manage colour profiles and apply Pantone colours to maintain colour accuracy across devices
Create imposition layouts, tiling, and other layout adjustments for large-format output
Set up files with correct bleed, trim, and safe-area requirements
Prepare files for production using RIP software to ensure proper processing and output
Normalize files and ensure they meet all print specifications
Work closely with production teams to ensure accuracy and timely output; Identify and resolve potential issues in digital files prior to production.
Coordinate proofing processes by following up with Customer Service Representatives; Retrieve customer-submitted files via online systems or email.
Plan and schedule work to meet customer deadlines, proactively monitoring timelines and flagging potential delays to management; Adhere to company procedures and workflows as outlined in internal manuals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma/Certificate in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
1 year of experience in a similar role preferred, preferably in a print environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office applications is a must.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
