We are looking for a

Junior Prepress / Digital Print Operator

to join our growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical aptitude and attention to detail who wants to build a career in the print industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review digital files for print production (checking bleeds, colour modes, resolution, and fonts). Operate and maintain digital printing equipment (e.g., Xerox presses). Perform imposition, file setup, and colour management using Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software. Conduct test prints and quality checks to ensure consistent output. Monitor job queues, manage production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist with light finishing tasks (cutting, folding, binding) as needed. Work collaboratively with prepress, press, and finishing teams to resolve file or print issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Familiarity with digital printing workflows and RIP software is an asset. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new software, equipment, and production techniques. Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
