Job Title: Digital Performance Manager Department: E-commerce Position Status: Permanent Location: Montreal (YUL)
Digital Performance Manager is responsible for all paid media activities from start to finish, including strategy, implementation, optimization, budget management and reporting. The person acts as internal subject matter expert for the digital advertising practice and must have proven expertise in display, paid social, paid search and SEO and advanced experience with all common martech platforms (DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, etc.).
Build full funnel digital media plans based on target audience and campaign objectives
Manage the entire digital media investments for the business, build strategic plan and track the quarterly budget envelope for eCommerce digital media initiatives (always-on campaigns, etc.)
Owner of the paid search channel
Manage in-platform campaigns and support the rest of the digital media team in their training, implementation, optimization tasks
Act as responsible party in delivering on qualified traffic to the website, CPA (cost per booking), conversions, CTR, CPM, CPC for paid search, display advertising, video ads and paid social
Build and maintain relationships with external media vendors and negotiate rates and contract terms for all digital media placements
Monitor and report on key performance indicators and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis
Work with the Marketing and Commercial teams to drive performance, support emerging business needs and optimize strategy, messaging and formats for digital channels
Monitor search trends and analyze website performance metrics in order to provide recommendations from a content perspective
Work with the E-Commerce team to align digital media and SEO efforts
Test new digital media products and be pro-active in seeking BETA accesses from our partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft, etc.)
Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing knowledge with the Marketing and E-Commerce team
Integrate strategies and recommendations with other active marketing channels such as email marketing and organic social media
Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing, competitive landscape and keyword research
Responsible for the media pixel tagging on our website with the support of Digital Analytics Manager
Qualifications & Skills
University degree in marketing or communications or E-commerce or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years experience in digital media
Experience in digital marketing or E-Commerce
Very good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good knowledge with advanced Google Analytics (GA4), Meta, DV360 and Google Campaign Manager
Up to date and knowledgeable on SEM and SEO best practices
Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications (asset)
Knowledge of Jira and Google Tag Manager (asset)
Fully bilingual, both oral and written in English and French
Demonstrate initiative and autonomy
Demonstrate judgment, professionalism and act in a confidential manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal/analytical skills
Very developed organizational skills and ability to word under pressure
Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics
Proficient in grammar, spelling and punctuation in English and French
Great ability to work in a team and a strong team player
Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
Comfortable in a dynamic and fast working environment
