We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic

Senior Digital Marketing Strategist

to join our award-winning team. This role is perfect for a data-driven marketing professional who thrives on helping trades, construction, and oil & gas companies transform their digital presence and achieve measurable business growth.

You'll work directly with Alberta's hardest-working businesses, taking a holistic approach to marketing that integrates website analytics, sales processes, and operational insights. This isn't just about running campaigns - you'll be a trusted advisor helping clients turn their business goals into actionable marketing strategies that deliver real ROI.

Digital Marketing Strategist (Edmonton, AB)



We are seeking a results-driven

Digital Marketing Strategist

with strong B2B and industrial experience to join our team in Edmonton. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and data-driven optimization to deliver measurable results for clients across construction, energy, trades, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Planning & Analysis



Implement analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, advanced Excel/Google Sheets). Develop reporting dashboards and KPIs for campaigns, website performance, SEO, lead generation, and follower growth. Analyze client operations and marketing data to understand business challenges and objectives. Create integrated strategies that align marketing with sales and operations. Convert client wish lists into actionable, ROI-driven plans with clear timelines. Present monthly executive dashboards and insights to business owners and stakeholders.

Multi-Channel Campaign Execution



Plan and execute campaigns across: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager Organic and paid social media SEO strategies (keyword research, competitor benchmarking, content optimization) Email and CRM automation campaigns Traditional advertising where relevant (print, radio, etc.) Develop compelling content: case studies, landing pages, ad copy, email campaigns, and social media. Maintain editorial calendars aligned with business goals. Track and optimize campaigns for CTR, conversions, and profitability.

Client Relationship Management



Serve as the strategic consultant for clients in industrial and blue-collar sectors. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate integrated campaigns. Support multi-region and international operations where applicable. Clearly communicate results, recommendations, and next steps.

Data Analysis & Optimization



Interpret website analytics, customer behavior, and advertising metrics to refine strategy. Optimize funnels and lead quality through CRM systems. Continuously improve campaigns with data-driven insights. Provide actionable, business-oriented reporting that ties marketing spend to measurable outcomes.

What You Bring



Required Skills & Experience



3-5+ years of digital marketing experience with proven ROI results. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, with local market knowledge. Strong B2B/industrial marketing background (construction, energy, manufacturing, or trades).
Technical proficiency in:

GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager SEO strategy and SEMRush WordPress (or similar CMS) Looker Studio dashboards CRM setup, management, and optimization Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to present complex concepts to non-marketing audiences. Project management skills: turning strategy into execution while coordinating across teams.

Preferred Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Experience with business consulting and aligning marketing with sales/operations. Familiarity with traditional/multichannel approaches. Graphic design ability (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with AI marketing tools and automation platforms. Creative problem-solver with a track record of innovative solutions.
