Role Overview


As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you should have a strong affinity for data and a desire to thoroughly understand the insights it provides. This role requires a self-starter who will consistently utilize data to expand the advertising possibilities for GoodMorning.com. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for writing engaging copy and leading the development of advertising campaigns aimed at driving traffic to GoodMorning.com's websites and digital publications. You will play a key role in differentiating our brands and managing advertising campaigns with both quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will


Design, build, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns on ad platforms like Google and Facebook


Create immaculate, high-converting advertising copy that is free from mistakes


Collaborate with graphic designers to continually optimize all digital video and image assets


Monitor accounts to ensure their campaigns, ad sets, and individual advertisements consistently deliver target click volumes at a target CAC


Forecast and effectively model anticipated traffic volume via paid channels


Administer sound experimentation, premised on logical hypotheses


Collaborating with colleagues to build and deploy assets that expand digital conversion catchment


Work with developers to design and build scripts that increase productivity and drive results


Seek out and use result-enhancing tools to drive the success of the business


Identify and leverage opportunities to expand the role of paid acquisition in growing the business


Challenge generally accepted assumptions with positions based on sound modelling and logical reasoning


Build and maintain books of best practice for paid acquisition tactics and channels


Keep pace with new developments in digital marketing

Our ideal candidate


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other related field.


2+ years working in a Digital Marketing/Advertising team (preferred).


Experience operating with digital advertising budgets of at least $10,000 per day is an asset


Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is an asset)


Proactive, asking questions to ensure objectives and requirements are clear and following up on action items and requests for information with urgency.


Strong critical thinking and reporting skills, with the ability to analyze data to identify trends or areas of opportunity.


Detailed and task-oriented, strong organizational skills, and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities.


Proven aptitude for functioning within deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team.


Demonstrable track record of working with Creative and/or eCommerce teams to develop digital advertising assets that work.


Skills


Data Analysis & Reporting - Ability to interpret campaign metrics (CTR, CAC, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and turn them into actionable insights.


Competency with tools like Google Analytics, Excel/Sheets, or BI dashboards.


Digital Campaign Management - Familiarity with building and optimizing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, or even email/CRM systems.


Copywriting for Performance - Crafting concise, persuasive ad copy that drives clicks and conversions


Well-versed in custom audience, lookalike, dynamic product, carousel, and collection ads creation


Demonstrable track record of working with Creative and/or eCommerce teams to develop digital advertising assets that work


Demonstrable track record of making paid acquisition work


Experimentation & Testing - Designing A/B tests or growth experiments, documenting results, and iterating based on learnings.
