NANIMERICA is an Anime-centric lifestyle brand established in Toronto. The brand is targeted to consumers with interests in anime fashion. The brand currently designs and manufactures anime jewelryAre you passionate about anime? Are you fascinated by how social media is transforming major brands? Are you intrigued by design, creativity and partnerships? If your answer to those questions is "yes," then you may be the person we're looking for to join for a 4-month internship.This is a 4-month contract role to gain experience and understanding working in the digital marketing realm. The candidate MUST be living and is eligible to work in Canada. We are currently not accepting applications from abroad.Please include your resume/CV and cover letter for the role. This is a must!The Digital Marketing Intern will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. Key responsibilities:CONTENT CREATION / GRAPHIC DESIGN (80%)

• Create awesome UGC/video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Develop eye-catching creative assets to be used in various formats such as digital advertisements
• Hone skills in Adobe Creative Suite for creating and editing
• Ensure final creative assets are visually appealing and on-brand
• Seek and liaise with potential social media influencer partnerships for user-generated content

EMAIL MARKETING (10%)

• Schedule and QA email campaigns with utmost precision
• Assist in improvement of current automated workflows and triggered campaigns
• Design engaging and creative emails using the Klaviyo platform

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES (10%)

• Research competitor insights
• Report on growth marketing strategies and streams

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• University/College degree or currently in a secondary program
• Vast interest in anime culture
• Interest in creating TikTok and Instagram Reels content
• Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop and Canva
• Experience with video editing programs such as Premiere Pro
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Fluency in English

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Previous work positions in a marketing role
• Experience working with Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok ads
• Experience working with the Klaviyo Platform
• Knowledge of HTML and/or CSS

Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 monthsSalary: $16.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:

• Monday to Friday
