DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day to work virtually.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing, Universal Music Canada is seeking Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Digital Marketing team. As the Digital Marketing Coordinator your primary responsibility will be to work with and support the team members within the Digital Marketing Department across projects and initiatives within catalogue and new releases.
Responsibilities
Support the overall digital marketing team on all initiatives, campaigns, research, and strategic partnerships
Support the digital marketing managers through the initial set-up, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of our artists accounts, music and video content on platforms (primarily TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube)
Participate in digital marketing brainstorms, artist meetings and partner meetings
Complete campaign recaps and analysis
Create presentation decks and learning materials for internal teams and external partners
Manage creation and coordination of marketing assets for both artist and 3rd party needs
Manage select accounts and ensure each platform is fully optimized for new releases
Identify and contact potential Influencers, tastemakers, media, and brands for possible partnerships within the digital space
Stay informed of trending topics and social media trends to leverage
Record highly detailed minutes during meetings, and assign tasks accordingly
Other duties/tasks as assigned
Requirements
You\xe2\x80\x99re an avid TikTok user and live & breathe your life on social media
You\xe2\x80\x99re equally as creative as you are organized
You\xe2\x80\x99re an experienced content editor (image, video, content \xe2\x80\x93 TikTok, Instagram)
College Degree, Certificate, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and graphic design preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast-past environment
Ability to carry out projects/tasks with limited supervision
Strong organizational and computer skills
A passion for working in the music industry
