Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern/Co-op Student to join our Marketing team. This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in a co-op or work-integrated learning program in marketing, ecommerce, or related field. This role provides the student with a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, while supporting the digital marketing team.
This co-op position is offered as part of a student work placement program. To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person with refugee protection given under the law.
Be enrolled in a post-secondary co-op or work-integrated learning program (proof of enrollment will be required).
Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Increasing website traffic through SEO & Email efforts
Enhancing customer experience by optimizing website usability
Boosting organic rankings through meticulous on-page and technical SEO improvements based on agency feedback & customer UX learnings
Stay on top of digital trends and best practices to ensure content aligns with search engine algorithms and attracts organic traffic
Execute and monitor email marketing campaigns on an online platform as directed
Analyze and update email database to ensure accurate customer data and CASL compliance
Collaborate with marketing team to ensure brand standards are maintained
Monitor and report on online metrics using GA4 and Shopify
Assist with additional marketing tasks as required
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing, ecommerce or a related field
Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
Experience in Google Marketing Platforms (Analytics 4, Search Console, Merchant Center, AdWords, etc.)
Email marketing software/platform experience an asset
HTML coding experience an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
