Taj Rugs & Home has been operating since 1978 retailing and wholesaling fine, hand knotted area rugs.
From our early days we have grown into a multi-chain retail company offering added services such as custom rugs, rug cleaning and repair and design services. In 2017 we launched our e-commerce business and feature our products on various platforms including Wayfair, Etsy, Charish and our own e-commerce website (Wordpress & Shopify)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate who can assist us with expanding and improving our e-commerce presence. The role will focus in the following areas:
Digital Marketing
? Managing our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google My Business, Houzz)
? Publishing blog posts
? Learning and implementing SEO strategies
? Sourcing customer reviews
? Creating Mailchimp Campaigns
Qualifications
? Minimum 1 year of work experience
? Interest and enthusiasm towards e-commerce and digital marketing, preferably towards retail or the home decor industry
? Eager to learn
? Strong computer proficiency and comfortable with using social media, asset if you're familiar with posting products on e-commerce platforms
? Independent worker
? Proficiency in English
? Comfortable making outbound phone calls
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
