Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Analyst works collaboratively with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute digital marketing initiatives to drive online brand awareness, lead generation and digital conversions to meet the college's annual enrollment growth targets. The incumbent will focus on digital marketing strategy including planning, executing, and analyzing digital marketing campaign tactics such as search engine marketing (SEM), display, programmatic and paid social advertising directly. The incumbent will also be responsible for project management of digital platform integrations, cross platform automation for paid advertising platforms and budget reconciliation for enterprise digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Implementation
Develop and manage paid digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to drive website traffic and achieve KPIs
Lead strategy and execution for digital brand and enterprise search campaigns
Monitor and optimize campaign performance, applying data insights and industry trends
Research emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance marketing effectiveness
Campaign Testing & Performance
Analyze campaign results and translate data into actionable recommendations
Conduct A/B testing on ads, creative, and targeting tactics to improve performance
Manage conversion tracking, performance reporting, and ROI analysis across platforms
Present insights and performance metrics to internal stakeholders
Project Management
Track and forecast campaign budgets; reconcile monthly billing
Coordinate with CRM, web, and content teams using project management tools
Oversee dashboards and reports in Looker Studio for KPIs and budget visibility
Support college-wide marketing initiatives and events as required (some travel)
Other Duties
Participate in college events and perform related tasks as assigned
Education
Post-secondary 4 year degree or equivalent in Marketing or Digital Marketing
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with the following:
Strong digital marketing skills, including recent experience with developing paid campaigns via digital advertising platforms
Strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, coordinate multiple projects in response to changing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to synthesize and translate technical information to non-technical audiences
Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to measure, interpret and present reports
Digital marketing experience in the higher education sector an asset, but not required
The following certifications are preferred, or a willingness to complete - Google Ads certification and Google Analytics certification
