PRIMARY PURPOSE:





The Digital Marketer is a creative, multi-channel marketer responsible for supporting brand awareness activities and driving full-funnel growth through content, social media, SEO, and paid advertising. This role owns all digital channels and content production, growing monthly organic traffic and supporting demand-generation efforts with high-quality content and leads.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Content Development & Production Coordination:




Manage content calendar and production: blogs, gated assets, and case studies Coordinate with outsourced content writers: create briefs, provide editorial direction, edit, and publish Develop content around key pillars Ensure all content aligns with brand storytelling framework and messaging guidelines Repurpose long-form content into multiple formats (social posts, email snippets, YouTube clips, etc.)


SEO & Organic Growth:




Own SEO/AEO and GEO strategy to grow organic website traffic Conduct keyword research focusing on long-tail, problem-solving keywords Optimize on-page SEO: meta descriptions, headers, schema markup, internal linking Execute technical SEO improvements: site speed, mobile optimization, quarterly page refreshes Optimize content for SEO/AEO and GEO Manage backlink outreach through guest posting and partner collaborations Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and engagement metrics monthly Generate reports for monthly tracking


Social Media Management:




Own social media company presence Engage with comments and posts for brand visibility Create engaging social content: carousels, short videos, polls, LinkedIn articles with lead magnet CTAs Manage YouTube channel (product demos, tutorials, webinar clips, customer stories) Optimize video content for SEO with titles, descriptions, chapters, and CTAs Build and manage employee advocacy program with monthly toolkit (post suggestions, images, hashtags) Increase MoM followers and engagement rates on LinkedIn


Paid Advertising Support:




Drive the execution of paid campaigns: Google Search Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, display retargeting (while working with agencies) Run competitor and high-intent keyword campaigns Create and manage retargeting audiences (demo page, pricing page, blog readers, video viewers) Support the execution of campaigns developed for webinars, gated content, and demo CTAs to targeted job titles and industries Optimize campaigns for cost-effective demo acquisition while protecting CPL and CAC Start small and scale spend on proven campaigns


Website Content & Optimization:




Own website content updates: homepage, product pages, pricing, landing pages Collaborate with the marketing leader and the marketing team on CRO initiatives Write and optimize CTA copy for maximum conversion Create and update gated video and content pages Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all website touchpoints


Reviews & Reputation Management:




Work in collaboration with the marketing team to support review generation programs on G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, SourceForge Execute paid PPL (pay-per-lead) campaigns on review platforms to generate leads/month Coordinate customer outreach for review requests with incentive programs Display review badges on high-traffic pages and in nurture emails Monitor and respond to reviews to maintain a positive brand reputation



Earned Media & Community Outreach:




Pitch and write guest posts for developer and marketing publications (Dev.to, CSS-Tricks, MarTech, CMSWire) Secure high-quality backlinks through guest posting and PR Participate in relevant online communities (Stack Overflow, Reddit, Slack groups) Coordinate thought leadership placements for executives Track referral traffic and engagement from earned media placements


Agency & Contractor Management:




Act as primary liaison for outsourced content writers and designers Provide creative direction and ensure deliverables meet brand standards Manage contractor timelines, budgets, and quality control Evaluate contractor performance and ROI


Cross-Departmental Collaboration:




Partner with marketing leader and team to ensure content supports campaign needs Collaborate with the product team to accurately market features and create launch content Coordinate with Partnership Manager on co-marketing content and assets



GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:




Communicate effectively across departments to align content and campaigns with business goals Successfully operate in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a positive, mission-driven focus Maintain a well-organized remote office environment and adhere to Agility CMS security and Code-of-Conduct requirements Stay current on digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, and social media platform updates



QUALIFICATIONS:




Required:




Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field 5-7 years of hands-on B2B SaaS digital marketing experience Proven expertise in SEO with demonstrated traffic growth results Strong content strategy and editorial skills with the ability to write and edit high-quality content Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and YouTube marketing for B2B audiences Experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) Proficiency with marketing tools: HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEMrush (or similar SEO tools) Portfolio demonstrating content creation, social media management, and campaign results


Preferred




Experience in headless CMS, MarTech, or developer-focused B2B markets Graphic design skills or strong design sensibility (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) Video editing and production experience Understanding of technical audiences (developers) and marketing audiences (CMOs, marketers) Experience building employee advocacy programs
