Digital Insights Consultant

Job Description

You will be working with an abundance of data and use your skills to uncover insights to support the mobile app team product launch roadmap, establish a prioritization framework for our adoption and engagement strategy and capital investment proposals. You will take advantage of our data driven teams to optimize essential points in the customer journey, work with our personalization prime on strategy to achieve flawless end-to-end user experiences, and contribute to standards and best practices.

Here's how

  • Use data to tell the story of how the Telus Digital team is making progress on critical metrics and uncover opportunities to improve the experience
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to audiences ranging from executives to working level team members
  • Follow the Lean Analytics guidelines of 'build, measure, learn' with product teams to ensure we are using data to define success, measure outcomes and consistently learn
  • Identify key segments for A/B testing and personalization use cases
  • Design, build, and maintain financial models to connect activities with important metrics and results for the Telus Digital team
  • Assist with decision-making related to program budgets and prioritization by modeling the expected results of planned initiatives
  • Collaborate with the product teams on monthly planning cycles to review results and make prioritization decisions around upcoming work
  • Champion, coach, and mentor team members on standard methodologies for using analytics to understand performance and inform decision-making
  • Actively seek opportunities to constantly improve our business processes
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
  • 3+ years working experience with Digital Analytics Tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Experience writing SQL queries to access and analyze data
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and personalization concepts
  • Relevant education in fields such as economics, marketing, engineering, mathematics, computer science or information management
  • Proficiency making data visualizations and dashboards using tools like DOMO, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate about analytics!
Must have skills
  • 5+ years of experience in an intermediate role pr 3+ years in a senior role, working in a similar role. Should be confident in their skill set and looking for that next challenge.
  • Must have experience with the tools we use internally, specifically Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DOMO, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Experience writing SQL queries to access and analyze data
Nice to have skills:
  • Mentoring JR. team members, able to provide coaching, feedback, and learning opportunities as there are a few JR team members on our team
  • Experience in AB testing
  • Experience in a similar industry, in an analytics role, where they have worked in a collaborative environment, passionate about what they do - aren't wanting to become a data engineer.
