In this role you will be working as a Digital Designer in a team researching and building industry leading network processors. You will be working with a world class talented team of architects, verification, modeling, and design engineers. Our goals are to increase PPA through novel architecture, design and verification techniques, while working closely together with our physical design teams.

Responsibilities

As a Digital Designer your duties include

  • Understanding and reviewing the high level architectural specifications
  • Writing RTL (System Verilog) and design specification that detail the implementation of the architecture
  • Working with the verification team to debug and close functionality
  • Working with the physical design team to help guide floor-planning and drive the physical synthesis of your block
  • Analyzing and characterization of power, using gate level simulation and power analysis tools
The successful applicant will be working in a productive team environment, alongside architects, other designers, verification and physical design engineers to deliver the next generation of network processors.

Qualifications
  • BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
  • Relevant experience from co-op/internship in the field of RTL Design using System Verilog
  • Experience or understanding of physical synthesis, static timing analysis, and power analysis is a plus
  • Scripting skill with preferable languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, Csh/Bash
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
