As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time Digital Content & Web Production Specialist to join our collaborative marketing and production team.

The Role



This in-office position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on digital work and collaborating with a team to make sure our web pages, content and operations stay organized and functioning properly. You will help build and maintain webinar pages on our WordPress website, produce email invitations and newsletter content in our email marketing platform, and ensure all integrations and tracking function correctly across our digital ecosystem.

You will also contribute to general marketing and production operations, help maintain content accuracy across the Xtalks platform, and ensure that webinar information is consistently distributed, both on our website and across select external event calendars.

HTML/CSS skills are considered an asset and provide additional flexibility when adjusting layouts, resolving formatting issues or troubleshooting page display.

Key Responsibilities



Web Production & Publishing



Build and publish webinar pages, spotlight pages and related assets using WordPress Update content, images, metadata, categories, tags and embedded components Use HTML/CSS where helpful for formatting adjustments or troubleshooting Ensure pages load accurately across devices and browsers Verify all integrations including registration forms, tracking parameters and custom fields

Email & Newsletter Production



Build webinar invitation emails in our email marketing platform Format newsletter content using existing templates and modules Perform QA checks on links, images, UTM parameters and dynamic fields Maintain consistent formatting, tone and branding across all communications

Quality Assurance & Technical Checks



Run pre-launch QA on webpages, emails and registration integrations Identify and escalate issues related to broken templates, metadata or page behavior

Site, Data & Content Maintenance



Maintain accuracy of the Xtalks webinar library Update internal metadata and categories for proper content placement and SEO Optimize images and manage media uploads Upload webinar recordings and embed video content when required Assist with simple database or website maintenance tasks on an as-needed basis

External Event Distribution



Publish webinar listings to approved external event calendars Ensure consistency in event descriptions, branding and links Verify postings and maintain an organized record of distribution

Cross-Functional Support



Work closely with the marketing and production teams to confirm event details Support internal SOP documentation for publishing workflows Contribute to general marketing and production operations where needed

Ideal Candidate Profile



We're looking for someone who works well with a team, thrives in a fast-moving, detail-driven workflow, and has a natural eye for clean, consistent digital presentation. You take pride in producing polished, well-organized content and ensuring everything functions as expected across our digital platforms.

Qualifications



Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms HTML/CSS skills are an asset Familiarity with email marketing tools and digital content formatting Strong attention to detail and a disciplined QA mindset Ability to troubleshoot simple formatting or display issues Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in the life sciences sector is an asset but not required Comfort using digital tools and adapting to new software

Education: College diploma in digital media, marketing, communications, web design, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
