Note:
  • This role is supported by a flexible work arrangement where the ideal candidate would spend approximately 2-3 days in the office a month as required.
  • This role can report into either of the following offices: Kitchener, London, or Toronto


What will you be doing in this role?

  • Reporting to the AVP, Digital Strategy you\xe2\x80\x99ll work together alongside internal FH teams to help shape the FH digital strategy and roadmap
  • Support the build & launch of new/enhanced technology initiatives that create market-leading digital experiences for our advisors, including:
    • Develop business cases, business requirements & test scenarios
    • Project management/planning activities/reporting dashboards
    • Create/define digital business processes and performance metrics/KPIs
    • Plan technical releases from development, staging and through to production
    • Lead/support the communication, change management & training rollout of digital initiatives both internally & externally
    • Develop & activate on operational roadmaps after project is complete
  • Be hyper-focused on ensuring FH is creating a positive digital experience & journey for our end users, including:
    • Regularly seeking/compiling user feedback to foster an environment of continuous improvement
    • Analyzing & interpreting key metrics/business data to provide informed recommendations to leadership
    • Support the ongoing development & evolution of the FH digital journey & technology experience roadmap
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to create/update/maintain contractual documentation with select technology vendors, including ongoing operational relationship management support
  • Competitive analysis activities, compile & stay apprised of market insights, trends & explore innovative new technologies to help identify potential opportunities for FH
  • Provide operational support of strategic advisor-facing websites, tools & technologies

What should your experience & qualifications look like?

  • College diploma, University degree, or related work experience
  • 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 financial services industry experience
  • 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 developing and executing technology projects, ideally within the financial services sector
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite of technologies, Salesforce, PowerBI & Google Analytics an asset
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives an asset
