Tasks

Administer nutrition plan for food preparation and service programs Determine the appropriate food route when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease Determine the nutritional treatment plan Evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health Monitor the nutritional status of individuals who follow a predetermined nutritional treatment plan Provide a complete nutritional assessment Provide nutrition guidance and consultation to health professionals, community groups, government or the media Support mothers who want to eat well during pregnancy and breastfeeding Treat patients suffering from malnutrition or gastrointestinal disorders Plan, evaluate and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational materials for various audiences
