Job Description



Job Summary:


This position disassembles and assembles parts for finished products to ensure proper fit. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on Tractors coming off the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Works under the direction of the R&D Supervisor
  • Disassemble and re-assemble parts for finished products
  • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
  • Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
  • Diagnose problems. Perform adjustments and repairs
  • Operate or tend to automated assembling equipment. Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts


Qualifications:
  • Mechanical education and/or work experience
  • Experience in Diesel Engines required
  • Previous vehicle mechanical experience is required
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems
  • Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Must be a reliable worker
  • Possess good manual dexterity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Capable of sustained physical effort


Working Conditions:
  • 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day)
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Frequent standing, bending, walking, and stretching
  • Lifting of light and heavy materials
  • Noisy working area
