Position Summary:

The Die Cut Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sheet-fed die cutting equipment (Brausse or Bobst 106). The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and experience maintaining consistent production quality in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate sheet-fed die cutting machines according to job specifications. Monitor production to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet all customer and quality standards. Perform complete make-ready activities, including equipment adjustments and tooling setup. Configure and validate matrices, counters, and die components for each job. Troubleshoot mechanical and quality-related issues as they arise. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including OH&S and SafeStart practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience operating sheet-fed die cutting equipment (Brausse or Bobst preferred). Experience with folding carton and blanking operations is an asset. Ability to read work orders, safety documentation, and equipment manuals. Able to perform basic math and read a tape measure to 1/16" accuracy. Physically able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift. Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and reliable work ethic. Basic computer skills required.
