The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, as well as offer 3D/HD Pregnancy Ultrasound sessions in an entertaining, peaceful environment. Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS).

Duties

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and addressing any concerns. Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret images and provide relevant clinical information. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including images and technical notes. Ensure the cleanliness, calibration, and proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Follow infection control procedures and uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sonographer or in a similar diagnostic imaging role. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Certification or licensing as required by provincial and/or national regulatory bodies. Strong technical skills with proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients. Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise imaging results. Pay: $32.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
