Working in the "Release quality & DevOps" team, DevOps will participate in creating, deploying and scaling our eProcurement AWS cloud infrastructure. You will also create, maintain and improve CI/CD pipeline for eProcurement DevOps and Development teams.

Main responsibilities:

Work with DevOps best practices to implement CI/CD pipelines to design, and build systems that are scalable, stable and efficient;
Monitor systems and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovation;
Develop and maintain consistency in environment instances for the development teams (i.e. infra as code, config as code);
Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting;
Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures;
Participate in evaluation of new requirements, technical designs, the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics;
Participate in post-mortem and root cause analysis;
Troubleshoot emergency (must be able to work flexible hours);
Answer user's query and service requests.

Desired profile:

Experience designing robust, scalable and highly available infrastructure on premise/cloud/hybrid;
Experience working with AWS Cloud infrastructure;
Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (ex.: Docker, Kubernetes & ECS Fargate);
Good knowledge of technologies of ELK and other monitoring tools (Grafana & Prometheus);
Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab, Spinnaker, CloudFormation, Terraform);
Good knowledge of scripting languages (ex.: Python);
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle and Postgres;
Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
Time and priority management;
Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
Highly motivated and responsible quick learner;
Operations experience in Unix/Linux environment is an asset;
Experience with different virtualization environments (ex.: VMware) is an asset;
Knowledge of development stack (ex. Java, Tomcat, Spring framework, hibernate, etc.) is an asset.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field (physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience;
2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar technical role with Kubernetes/Docker emphasis;
1+ experience deploying and maintaining cloud applications using AWS.
