Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Devops Developer. This role is based out of our offices in Stellarton, NS.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

Key Responsibilities:






Design, implement, and maintain

Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application development and infrastructure provisioning.

Manage

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Collaborate

with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Automate and optimize

deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance

DevOps processes and tools for performance and reliability.

Ensure systems meet high standards

for security, scalability, and compliance.

Support containerized workloads

using Azure RedHat OpenShift, Container apps and Kubernetes on cloud platforms.

Champion DevOps culture

across the organization and guide continuous improvement initiatives.

Platform Administration

on DevOps related tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Agile Place and more.

What you have to offer:

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, information systems, or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT. Technical knowledge of a variety of cloud platforms, CI/CD deployment technologies and cloud services. Experience managing projects and CI/CD build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps. Experience in cloud automation development and deployment. Experience working within an agile team environment preferred. Retail industry experience preferred. Platform specific certifications such as AZ 900 (Azure Fundamentals).
