Our Company

Mobiltex is an IoT company that enables our clients to remotely monitor critical assets using our industry's leading data collection, transmission, and analysis platforms. Corrosion specialists everywhere rely on us for our innovative solutions and superior customer support to maintain asset integrity. We've been leading the way in cathodic monitoring and data analysis through thousands of miles of pipelines in North America and continue to expand our market presence within the industry

Overview

This is a role for someone who thrives on building, shipping, and iterating fast. You won't just recommend tools or write process documents -- you'll be in the trenches, coding automation scripts, provisioning infrastructure, and deploying workloads. You'll take ownership of the full DevOps lifecycle, from rapid prototyping to stable, scalable, and secure production rollouts. If you're someone who gets energy from delivering tangible results quickly, while continuously refining and improving systems, this is the opportunity for you.

What you'll do:

Continuous Integration & Deployment:

Design, implement, and optimize automated build and release pipelines to ensure fast, secure, and reliable deployments across all environments.

Infrastructure as Code:

Define, maintain, and version-control AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK to ensure repeatable, compliant, and production-ready environments.

Monitoring & Incident Response:

Deploy and manage centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to detect issues early, reduce MTTR, and improve service reliability.

Security & Compliance:

Integrate security best practices and automated compliance checks into pipelines and infrastructure changes to safeguard systems and data.

Collaboration & Enablement:

Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery workflows, remove bottlenecks, and promote DevOps best practices.

Developer Environment Improvements:

Enhance and automate developer onboarding and local environment setup to closely replicate production and minimize deployment friction.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and deliver process, tooling, and infrastructure enhancements that increase delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering role delivering production systems in a cloud environment. Proven

hands-on

experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins -- not just theory, but building and operating them in real-world environments. Demonstrated ability to rapidly

prototype infrastructure and automation solutions

and evolve them into robust, production-ready deployments on aggressive timelines. Strong proficiency with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, and IAM, with the ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex architecture independently. Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation to deliver reproducible, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Skilled in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to remove manual bottlenecks and accelerate delivery. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a focus on getting workloads into production quickly and safely. Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, and VPC design, applied in live production systems. Bonus - AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer). Bonus - Experience in regulated industries (SOC 2, ISO 27001) or with IIoT and infrastructure-monitoring domains.
