About the Role



We are currently hiring

Developmental Service Workers (DSW)

to provide high-quality, compassionate support to individuals with

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

,

developmental delays

,

mental health conditions

, and

behavioral challenges

in residential and day treatment programs. Staff play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment that fosters growth, independence, and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise and engage residents in daily routines and structured programming Provide support in recreation, life skills education, and behavior management Ensure medication routines are followed and documented accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment Drive agency vehicles as needed for client outings or appointments Complete documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and medication records Comply with agency and Ministry policies, Health & Safety, and crisis protocols Support personal care needs, including hygiene, grooming, and health routines Assist in community integration and social/recreational participation Actively contribute to a respectful, team-based support environment

Qualifications (Required):



College Diploma or University Degree in

Developmental Services Work (DSW)

or related field. Valid

Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification

Valid

Crisis Intervention training (CPI and/or UMAB)

Vulnerable Sector Check

completed within the last 6-12 months or willingness to obtain

Fully vaccinated

against COVID-19 Minimum

1 year of experience

working in a group home or residential setting with individuals with ASD, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs Strong written and verbal

English communication skills
