Position Summary
K&H Developments, a division of Eagle Builders, seeks a Development Analyst to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in real estate development financial modelling, requiring analytical prowess, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data. • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for commercial real estate developments
• Research markets and provide supporting investment rationale
• Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends, and recommending areas for improvement
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and potential risks
• Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on financial outcomes
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
• Minimum 44 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• Available to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday (never Sunday)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A keen interest in the commercial real estate industry
• Must maintain the confidentiality of documents and information across all levels of the organization
• Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
• Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta

Assets

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Experience in banking, finance, accounting, appraisal, commercial real estate brokerage, private equity or construction
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
• Previous background in real estate
