Description:

• Project: The GWMS CRM team is the Salesforce Centre of Excellence for client. The team is currently responsible for 10 different Salesforce Orgs across multiple lines of Business and is in the process of further expanding to additional lines of Business and new geographies.
• Story behind the need: In support of this growth, the team is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to both deliver on existing initiatives and establish Business-Technology roadmaps for future initiatives.
• Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an expansion in the international wealth management space at one of the Big Five Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in the Role:

• Attending daily scrum huddles to discuss the project at large and address daily concerns
• The successful candidate will be given daily tickets/stories to address
• Addressing any new enhancements or bugs as required
• Coordinating with Business Analysts and Quality Analysts to provide insight into the changes made to the system and advising on testing
• Working within an Agile work environment to address project tasks

Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years of previous experience as a Salesforce developer
• 5-7 years of experience with Salesforce Lightning and Apex
• 5-7 years of experience with Financial Service Cloud experience
• Previous ETL (Talend) /API experience is highly preferred

Nice to Have:

• Previous Financial Institution experience particularly in Asset Management

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal Communication Skills are a key aspect to this role
• Relationship building skills
• Time management and general organization

Best Vs Average:

• The best vs average candidate would be someone who has the needed Salesforce experience but could also communicate effectively between teams. The hiring manager has indicated that strong communication skills is a must in this role.

Degrees or certifications:

• Post graduate degree in a related experience
• Salesforce level 1 and Salesforce admin certifications

Interview:

• 2 rounds of interviews and cameras on is a must.
