JOB SUMMARY:



As a member of the IT team, the Developer Analyst will design and develop custom JDE and DSI applications. The Developer Analyst will contribute to the integration projects of a new subsidiary on JDE.

The position includes analysis, coding, debugging, and support of JDE/DSI test and production environments.

This position requires a solid understanding of the project lifecycle and software development. The JDE/DSI Developer will work closely with other departmental teams, end users, and the IT management team to ensure compliance with agreed deadlines and key business requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Support JDE development activities, both for existing modules (distribution, manufacturing) and for the implementation of new modules (transportation). Improve our warehouse management system (DSI), which is directly linked to JDE and is currently used at most of our sites. Collect and validate technical requirements while ensuring an adequate understanding of functional requirements. Develop and develop technical solutions, perform testing, and perform the necessary deployments in test and production environments. Work with SQL databases to extract, convert, and transfer data. Develop/optimize reports and objects with existing tools (RDA, FDA, TDA, TC, C, BI Publisher, UDOs, Orchestration Studio). Manage application-related incidents and resolve reported technical issues by proposing effective action plans and corrective measures. o Understand business requirements, be able to link them to system requirements, and produce technical specifications and documentation. Perform preventive and corrective code maintenance. Govern and ensure the evolution of information technology. Develop and define development standards and best practices. Be responsible for conducting technology monitoring on the systems used. Support users in the operation of developed systems and solutions. Train users on new developments. Lead and participate in technical projects. Communicate technical information effectively and clearly to management. Control the scope, identify and manage project risks; provide regular updates on task completion, issue resolution, system readiness, and other identified indicators. Apply a working knowledge of roles and relationships within the organization and use available resources to resolve issues.

JOB SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:



Hold a DEC in business information technology or programming, or an undergraduate degree in computer engineering or business information technology. Essential: In-depth knowledge of Oracle's J.D. Edwards Enterprise One software package. Proficiency, with significant hands-on experience, in JDE 9.2 application development tools such as NER, RDA, FDA, TDA, TC, C, BI Publisher, UDOs, Orchestration Studio, etc. More than 4 years of experience as a JDE/DSI developer Proficiency with databases, including SQL. Knowledge of DSI Application Studio 9.0 and form development. Experience in application orchestration, transformation, upgrade, and retrofit Bilingualism required (English, French), both oral and written, to meet the needs of internal and external clients located across Canada. o Ability to solve and/or anticipate problems, collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals, and work independently and rigorously. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate analytical data to internal and external stakeholders. Oracle JDE certification is an asset.

Job location

: Mississauga, ON or Laval, QC. The candidate may choose to be based at our Mississauga or Laval offices.
